Conference on Migration & Culture in Taiwan

The Conference on Migration & Culture in Taiwan will be held on September 24th, 2015 in the Purple Lounge of the 14th floor of Robarts Library.

Migration, as a universal phenomenon in the age of globalization, triggers our attention not only in the broad social-political issues, but also more sensitively in arts, literature, and value systems that deeply touch our hearts. This conference, focusing on the Taiwan migration experience, will explore various issues such as new immigrants in Taiwan, immigrant culture: imaged and practiced, images of migration in art, multicultural interaction and meaningful life etc.
