The Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library is home to a vast collection of special materials, including rare books, manuscripts, and historical documents. To preserve the integrity of our collections and maintain a clean environment for all how use our facilities, we are implementing a new waste disposal program, effective May 2023.
Goals:
- Adhere to our current EAL Food & Drink Policy (no food permitted, and covered drinks only).
- Ensure that only paper is disposed of in our recycling blue bins.
- Dispose of all non-paper waste in the bins located outside the library near the elevators and near the washrooms on the 8th floor.
