This database project studies the first wave of postcards
with a Chinese subject. Users not only find images of the
postcards, but also their historical context information
about what they are, who produced them and where, how they
were used, and what's their significance. The growing
collection focuses on early (1896-1920) postcards of China
with the bulk back to the time of the late imprial (before
1911). It has stopped updating in 2004 and the 462 images
the site hosts are available to view and download.

Chinese Memory is a digital project undertaken by the
National Library of China (PRC) to showcase its digitized
collections and exhibit selected highlights of the NLC's
collections of Chinese rare books and historical resources.
The website also publishes research papers about the studies
of Chinese rare books.

Chineseposters is a continually growing web-database that
presents Chinese propaganda posters through vitural
exhibitions, theme presentations, etc. Most of the featured
posters are from the collections of Stefan Landsberger and
the Interantional Institute of Social History (IISH,
Amsterdam, Netherlands). The website is maintained by the
Chinese Posters Foundation.

Founded in April 2009, the English-language Global Times is
one of the most dynamic players among Chinese media, and has
rapidly become the major English newspaper in the nation.
The Global Times’ readers, both foreign and Chinese, include
ambassadors, business leaders, politicians, and
intellectuals.

The online archive results from a digitization project
undertaken by the Chinese University of Hong Kong to
digitize the works and papers of Professor David Hawke,
including his original translation manuscript of The Story
of the Stone (石頭記, Chapter 2~Chapter 80).

The China Story Yearbook is an annual series
publication by the China experts at Australian
National University's Center on China in the
World. The first issue was published in 2012.
Each issue focuses on a specific topic. The
yearbook looks at issues of China with insight and
perspectives one usually does not find in
commercial media.

The China Youth Daily (中国青年报, or 中青报 for
short) is the popular official newspaper of the
Communist Youth League (CYL) of China (中国共青
团). It has been operated by the CYL since 1951.
The newspaper got its online version in 2000
(www.cyol.net). The CYOL.net website hosts an
online archive of the newspaper's past issues
dating back to 2005.

The China Story Project is a web-based account of
contemporary China created by the Australian Centre on
China
in the World (CIW) in the College of Asia & the Pacific
(CAP) at The Australian National University (ANU) in
Canberra. The China Story engages with the shifting
narratives and realities of contemporary China, offering a
range of views on different aspects of the People’s
Republic, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan and the Chinese-
speaking world essayed by scholars, writers, journalists
and
commentators.

The Chinese-Australian Historical Images in Australia
(CHIA) database is a catalogue of historical images of
Chinese, Chinese immigrants and their descendants held in
Australia. It primarily draws on the photographic holdings
of the Chinese Museum but also includes photographs from
other online archives, publications and private family
collections. Digital copies of many of these images are
available for research purposes. CHIA also includes the
