Hong Kong Film Critics Society

Established in 1995, Hong Kong Film Critics Society is a
cultural organization that advocates independence for film
critics and takes it as its mission to use film criticism
to
promote the development of Hong Kong film industry. The
Film Critics Society is behind many film activities of
Hong
Kong. Its website publishes articles of its members and
makes available the current and archival issues of
Hkinema,
the quarterly magazine of the Society.

Hkinema

Hkinema is the quaterly magazine published by Hong Kong Film
Critics Society. The magazine was started in December 2007,
and the PDF versions of archival issues can be downloaded
from the Hkinema website.

David Hawkes Archive

The online archive results from a digitization project
undertaken by the Chinese University of Hong Kong to
digitize the works and papers of Professor David Hawke,
including his original translation manuscript of The Story
of the Stone (石頭記, Chapter 2~Chapter 80).

Basic Law Drafting History Online

Basic Law Drafting History Online (BLDHO) is an online
resource providing information and materials from the
drafting history of Hong Kong's constitution, The Basic Law
of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the
People's Republic of China. BLDHO is a joint project of the
Centre for Comparative and Public Law and the HKU Libraries.

An Intelligent Database For Standard Chinese Computer
Terminology

The site is created by the Hong Kong Computer Society and
allows for searches related to a specific English or Chinese
keyword in databases of both Hong Kong and Mainland computer
terminology. Hong Kong Computer Society has a formal
agreement with Chinese Computer Federation to publicize and
promote in Hong Kong and internationally the official set of
computer terms in Chinese published by the Standard
Terminology Assessment Committee of China. It is essential
to promote the use of a standardized vocabulary in Chinese

The Hong Kong University Library Digital Initiatives

The HKUL Digital Initiatives have implemented digitization
projects that are now providing open online access to local
collections originally in print format. These include Basic
Law Drafting History Online, Beijing Historical Geography
Database, China through Western Eyes, Historical Laws of
Hong Kong Online, Hong Kong and the West until 1860, Hong
Kong Government Reports Online (1853-1941) and Hong Kong
Journals Online.
