American Memory

American Memory provides free and open access through the
Internet to written and spoken words, sound recordings,
still and moving images, prints, maps, and sheet music that
document the American experience. It is a digital record of
American history and creativity. These materials, from the
collections of the Library of Congress and other
institutions, chronicle historical events, people, places,
and ideas that continue to shape America, serving the public
as a resource for education and lifelong learning.

Expeditions and Discoveries: Sponsored Exploration and
Scientific Discovery in the Modern Age

In the 19th and 20th centuries, Harvard University played
a significant role-as underwriter, participant, collector,
and repository-for pace-setting expeditions around the
world. For Internet users, Expeditions and Discoveries
provides selective access to Harvard's multidisciplinary

China Story Yearbook

The China Story Yearbook is an annual series
publication by the China experts at Australian
National University's Center on China in the
World. The first issue was published in 2012.
Each issue focuses on a specific topic. The
yearbook looks at issues of China with insight and
perspectives one usually does not find in
commercial media.

China Youth Daily

The China Youth Daily (中国青年报, or 中青报 for
short) is the popular official newspaper of the
Communist Youth League (CYL) of China (中国共青
团). It has been operated by the CYL since 1951.
The newspaper got its online version in 2000
(www.cyol.net). The CYOL.net website hosts an
online archive of the newspaper's past issues
dating back to 2005.

The China Story

The China Story Project is a web-based account of
contemporary China created by the Australian Centre on
China
in the World (CIW) in the College of Asia & the Pacific
(CAP) at The Australian National University (ANU) in
Canberra. The China Story engages with the shifting
narratives and realities of contemporary China, offering a
range of views on different aspects of the People’s
Republic, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan and the Chinese-
speaking world essayed by scholars, writers, journalists
and
commentators.

Australian Centre on China in the World

The Australian Centre on China in the World (CIW) is a
research institution established to enhance the existing
capabilities of The Australian National University (ANU).
It
aims to be an integrated, world-leading institution for
Chinese Studies and the understanding of China, or what
has
been called 'Greater China' or the 'Chinese Commonwealth'
(the People's Republic of China, the Hong Kong and Macau
Special Administrative Regions, as well as Taiwan and the
Chinese diaspora), on a global scale.
