其丈夫: 伍廷芳 (1842-1922) was apppointed co-commissioner for the revision of treaties in 1902. In 1906, he was appointed vice-president of the Board of Punishments. 伍廷芳 sent memorials to the throne proposing such reforms as the removal of the queue.

1912 伍廷芳 became the minister of justice
