The Taiwan Resource Centre for Chinese Studies (TRCCS) at the University of Toronto Libraries was officially opened in the Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library in September 23, 2015. This is the first TRCCS in Canada. As offical web site of TRCCS starts "In the interest of promoting scholarly resources for Chinese and Taiwan studies, the National Central Library (NCL) has established overseas Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies (TRCCS) since 2012 on the basis of existing program of international publication exchange and over 30 years’ experience of academic exchanges in sinology. Located at leading universities and research institutes across the globe, the TRCCS aims to strengthen collaborative relationships with Chinese studies research centers all over the world, enhance more international academic exchanges in Chinese studies, promote Taiwan’s achievements in the field of Chinese studies, and collaboratively build a global sinological resources and information platform, thereby broadening and deepening cultural exchanges between Chinese and Western worlds" As UofT, the establish of TRCCS enhanced our collections of cademic resources from Taiwan on Chinese studies and provides more Taiwan related resources and services to our users

National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan 臺灣博碩士論文知識加值系統

“NDLTD-Taiwan” is the only system that has consistently collected theses and dissertations of colleges and universities in Taiwan from 1956 to the present, covering the disciplines of the sciences, engineering, agriculture, medicine, the humanities and social sciences and continues to promote the concept of free access to unauthorized materials. In recent years, with the increase of the number of graduate students in Taiwan, from less than 30,000 graduates in 2002 to more than 60,000 every year since 2009, by December 31, 2017, more than 1,000,000 abstracts were entered into the system, and more than 420,000 theses and dissertations have been authorized to be put online.
PerioPath: Index to Taiwan Periodical Literature System 臺灣期刊論文索引系統

The scope of the collection in the PerioPath: Index to Taiwan Periodical Literature System is mainly from the East and West academic journals published in Taiwan, and some journals published in Hong Kong and Macao since 1970. There are approximately 4800 kinds of journals and more than 2.22 million articles have been collected. Academic journals published before 1970 are also available.
Union Catalog of Rare Books Database 中文古籍聯合目錄

To facilitate scholarly research in studies of Chinese literature, thought, culture and the field of Sinology, in 1998 NCL established an international joint and sharing of bibliographic resources on Chinese rare books called "Union Catalog". The catalog originally covered rare books available in Taiwan's libraries. Over the years, the participating libraries have expanded to include prestigious and respectable libraries and academic institutions around the world, including East Asia, United States, Europe and Australia. Since 2012, the catalog has kept increasing, involving Ca' Foscari University of Venice, National University of Mongolia, etc, and it has comprised over 750,000 titles at 83 academic institutions and libraries worldwide so far.
Rare Books Image Search System 古籍影像檢索系統

The “Digital Image Database” includes two parts: one is the scanned images of NCL's rare books collection; the other is the NCL's international collaborations of the digitalization project of Chinese rare books. For the former one, by the end of 2019, over 11,777 titles of NCL's collection of rare books published before 1795 have been digitized, and these scanned materials have made available to the public through the NCL's Digital Images Database. Regarding the international digitalization project, since 2005, NCL has been cooperated with Library of Congress of the United States, Library of the University of Washington, Library of the University of California Berkeley (UCLA), Library of the University of Toronto, and Bibliothèque nationale de France, University of British Columbia, National Library of Korea, Princeton University Library. Nearly 3,070,844 images, drawn from the above libraries' important rare Chinese books have been digitized and incorporated into the digital images database.
Bronze & Stone Rubbing Database 金石拓片資料

At the beginning of its establishment, the NCL bought the Meng Jixun's collection of stone inscriptions, which formed the basis foundation of library's collection of rubbing inscriptions. During the book rescue action in war-world II, many fine stone inscriptions have also been collected into the library's special collection. After relocated to Taiwan, the NCL kept on collecting stone inscriptions from Tainan's forest of steles and Sichuan's stone paintings. Until now, the NCL has collected 7,093 titles, 13,634 paintings of stone inscriptions, and these materials can be searched and used from the library's online image database.
Digital Archive of Rare Books 善本古籍數位典藏系統

This archive includes scanned full-text images of Chinese rare books collected by the National Taiwan Normal University. By the end of 2019, 505 titles have been scanned. Among these, 3918 volumes (283,992 pages) have been included into the database.
