May is a time to honour the contributions of Canadians of Asian heritage throughout history and their ongoing impact on Canada. This month celebrates the resilience and diversity of Asian Canadian experiences.

Guide on Anti-Asian Racism: Asian Canadian History

Visit our research guide on anti-Asian racism in Canada, designed to provide starting points to learn about the histories and experiences of Asian Canadians and Asians in Canada since their first arrival in the late 1700s. The guide includes a timeline of some key historical events in Asian Canadian history, a chronological list of resources from the University of Toronto Libraries on Asian Canadian history, and links to community supports around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the University of Toronto (U of T).
