KOTATSU 2025: Japanese Cinema at Innis Town Hall

This year’s edition offers a perfect blend of five contemporary Japanese films, running from morning to night on Saturday, January 25. They open and close with stunning anime films, with a distinct selection of indie gems in between.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Cheng Yu-Tung East Asian Library is proud to be a community partner for the screening of the stunning Japanese anime film Children of the Sea at the Japan Foundation, Toronto's annual winter film showcase at Innis Town Hall. This year’s edition also offers a perfect blend of five contemporary Japanese films, running from morning to night on Saturday, January 25. We open and close with stunning anime films, with a diverse selection of hidden indie gems in between. All films are admission free and presented in Japanese with English subtitles.
