The Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library is excited to share that the University of Toronto community can now access Historical Newspapers: South China Morning Post (1958-2001) through the University of Toronto Libraries.
Historical Newspapers: South China Morning Post (1958-2001) extends the years of access now to 2001. The South China Post is a Hong-Kong based English-language newspaper. In the post-WWII period, the paper represented the interests of Hong Kong elites and the British government.
Of interest to scholars in Chinese history and studies, international relations, media studies, and political science.
