New e-Resource: The NK Pro Sanctions Tracker Mobile App!

The Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library is pleased to announce that the University of Toronto community can now access the e-resources for NK News and NK Pro Sanctions Tracker as a mobile application!  

About the resources:

NK Pro Sanctions Tracker: A research tool that provides information relating to the activities of entities that help North Korea to develop prohibited weapons programs and evade sanctions. This database is based on the United Nations Panel of Experts reports and UN sanctions resolutions. Access the NK Pro Sanctions Tracker here.  

Of interest to research and scholarship in Korean Studies, Korean politics, government, and social sciences.  

A desktop view of the NK Pro Sanctions Tracker includes an infographic of sanctions organized by date, and filters for companies, people, events, vessels, organizations, and documents.

Mobile App: Launch the application while connected to the University of Toronto's Wi-Fi network. Continue to use the app from home for up to 7 days before needing to reconnect on campus.
