The Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library is excited to share that the University of Toronto community can now access the ProQuest History Vault: Japanese American Incarceration: Records of the War Relocation Authority, 1942-1946 e-resource through the University of Toronto Libraries.  

The ProQuest History Vault: Japanese American Incarceration: Records on the War Relocation Authority, 1942-1946 contains a collection of reports and correspondence on issues such as security, education, health, vocational training, agricultural, food, and family welfare. Sources in the collection reflect the day-to-day organization and activities of ten concentration camps from 1942-1946. In addition, the collection includes significant material on public relations and military recruitment.  

Of interest to scholars in Japanese history, American history, war history, and international relations.
