The Family Care Office and Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library invite U of T community members and their families to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Lunar New Year is a significant celebration in many East and Southeast Asian cultures and their diasporic communities. Join us as U of T community members share their unique traditions; participants are invited to enjoy family-friendly activities (including crafting a lucky pouch) for children.
Celebrate the new year, learn about diverse customs, and enjoy a festive atmosphere! Lunar New Year souvenirs will be given to attendees, and the East Asian Library will generously provide food.
Join us for an afternoon filled with family-friendly fun as we explore diverse community traditions and celebrate the Lunar New Year together!
